“Offerta Musicale” is a video stage design created in collaboration with Mariangela Malvaso for a live concert performance at Teatro Dal Verme in Milan.
The visual project was conceived as a scenic backdrop for Musikalisches Opfer by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by Ramin Bahrami, internationally recognized as one of the foremost interpreters of Bach’s music.
Designed to dialogue with the music rather than illustrate it, the video stage integrates motion graphics and visual abstraction to support the concert’s atmosphere and emotional depth. The animated visuals unfold in synchrony with the performance, enhancing the spatial and perceptual experience of the audience while respecting the structure and intensity of the musical composition.
The project demonstrates how motion design can extend beyond the screen to become an integral part of live performance, shaping an immersive scenographic environment where sound, space and image converge into a unified artistic experience.
